Description

Home Nicely is a renovation to a beforehand one-story bungalow on the west finish of Toronto. Two separate volumes of differing heights have been spanned over the reconfigured floor flooring creating various spatial situations; a lofty residing space and entry outlined by a clear-storey over the enclosed entrance porch and a compressed area on the kitchen with giant uninterrupted openings to the rear yard.

A central hole, or nicely between the 2 higher volumes is lit by home windows on the east and west aspect. A diaphanous perforated metallic stairs is suspended inside the nicely filtering mild into the area beneath. The home windows, stairs, and partitions within the nicely work to spotlight the shifts in coloration temperature on both aspect of the home by means of the course of the day.
